So I've put together a nice HTPC, I think, and I'm building myself a server. However, I do not have the technical background yet on linux to make everything work so far. Therefore, if you are done with your project I'd be very glad to hear more about it! My setup: 1. Server. D201GLY2A Mobo (Fanless 1.2GHz Celeron), 1GB RAM, 500GB GreenPower WD (Data), 80GB 2.5" (OS), one 80mm fan, onboard DC-DC mini PSU. Ubuntu server 64bits 8.04, with SSH and Samba. 2. HTPC. GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-S2H (AMD 780G chipset with HDMI 1.3, Zalman NBF-47 Northbridge heatsink); 2GB DDR2 800 corsair XMS2; Fanless AMD AM2 CPU 45W 2.4GHz; Custom Silverstone LC02 case (Built in 220W Flex PSU, Thermaltake Silent Wheel A2330); 80GB OS Drive. Ubuntu desktop 64bits 8.04 with Elisa Media Center. 3. Generic MCE IR remote. 4. Samsung LNT4061F 1080p 5.
